Admissions Policy
Atlantic Inclusive Academy admits students of any race, color, religion, sex, and national ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to the students at The Academy. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, or national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship programs, athletics, or any other school-administered programs.
Enrollment Procedures
1. Schedule a tour of The Academy for you and your student.
2. Then parents need to schedule an appointment for an interview with the Director to discuss the procedures and rules of Atlantic Inclusive Academy and to discuss and determine if our program will meet your child’s needs. The students are required to come to the initial interview also.
3. Once the application forms are completed, the Admissions Committee evaluates the student’s application. Parents will be notified by mail or by phone concerning the student’s admittance into The Academy.
4. The non-refundable Commitment Fee is due before a space can be reserved for a student and before enrollment can be completed. The Registration Fee is due on or before the first day of school.
5. An appointment will be made for your child to take the Diagnostic Tests prior to the first day of school.
Financial Assistance
At The Academy, we believe that finances should
never be a barrier to a quality education for children. We are
dedicated to helping families receive funding for their children’s
educational needs. Dr. Holmes and the staff of the Academy are
skilled at assisting families in applying for McKay Scholarships,
as well as identifying other funding resources for students at
The Academy.
The Dolphin Scholarship is available for students who are enrolled
in The Academy. The pupose of the Dolphin Scholarship is to help fund the student's tuition at The Academy when the student's family income is not sufficient to cover the entire tuition of The Academy.
The Starfish Scholarship is available for students who are enrolled
in The Academy and recieve a McKay Scholarship from the State of Florida. The purpose of the Starfish Scholarship is to help fund the student's tuition at The Academy when the student's McKay Scholarship and the family's income are not sufficient to cover the entire tuition of The Academy.
The McKay Scholarship is available to students who have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). It is a scholarship from the State of Florida for parents of children who have an IEP and are not happy with the public school experience that their children are receiving.
