he never attended, and has matured, is able to learn
to a potential which he has never been able to accomplish

The Role of the Development Office is to coordinate all fundraising to supplement the school's operating budget and provide for special programs and activities. Atlantic Inclusive Academy operates without financial support from local or federal governments, and relies on charitable support from all of the Atlantic Inclusive Academy community, including the Board of Directors, current and past parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends.
Atlantic Inclusive Academy's
first and foremost fundraising priority is the
Annual Fund Campaign. Like most independent schools,
Atlantic Inclusive Academy cannot meet its operating
budget through tuition alone. The Annual Fund
is the principal source of unrestricted funds
to bridge the gap between tuition and our budget.
The Annual Fund raises critical funds for program
enrichment, recruitment and retention of top-caliber
faculty, and campus maintenance. It also helps
to keep tuition as reasonable as possible. We
strongly encourage all members of the Atlantic
Inclusive Academy community to support the Annual
Fund to the best of their ability. The Finance
Committee of the Board of Directors has established
an Endowment Development Plan with a goal of $2,000,000.
Once the goal is attained, income from the endowment
will be used to supplement tuition and Annual
Fund gifts in the operation of the school. Atlantic
Inclusive Academy also welcomes gifts of scholarship
funds.
All gifts to The Academy are 100% tax deductible. Atlantic Inclusive Academy is a tax-exempt 501(c)3, Nonprofit organization approved by the Internal Revenue Service.
Gifts of Cash: Traditionally, a majority of the gifts
made to Atlantic Inclusive Academy come in the form of cash or personal checks.
Tithing: If you believe
in tithing, Atlantic Inclusive Academy is an excellent
place to give. We are doing God’s work through
helping our students and would appreciate any
donations. The Academy also tithes every month.
Pledges: Yearly pledges must be paid in full by December 31 to be honored during that fiscal year. However, large gifts are often made over a period up time up to five years.
Matching Gifts: You may be able to increase the value of your gift through a matching gift program at your or your spouse's place of employment. Complete a matching gift form from your company's human resources office and mail it to us with your pledge card or cash donation. We'll do the rest.
Gifts of Securities: A gift of appreciated securities (stocks, bonds, or mutual fund shares) that you have held for more than one year is a popular way to give. Your transfer of securities may be made with electronic transfer from brokerage account to The Academy’s account. Contact the schools director at 321-638-0040 for personal assistance in transferring securities.
Gifts-in-kind: Items may be donated to The Academy. Our music (musical instruments) or athletic (equipment) departments have been enriched by gifts of new or slightly used equipment for student and faculty use. Please contact the Director, at 321-638-0040, for more information on the needs of the school.
Gifts of Real Estate: Appreciated marketable real estate is another asset with which you may make a significant gift to the school. Because of the unique nature of real estate gifts, you would need to announce your gift intentions to the Development Office and get the approval of the Gift Acceptance Committee in advance. For more information, contact the director of the school at 321-638-0040.
Gifts of Endowment: Become a Partner in Education with a gift of endowment. The Academy's Endowment is comprised of several funds where annual interest is used for a stated purpose; e.g. scholarships. As the principal accrues, the interest may be expended annually.
Bequests: You may choose to make a gift to Atlantic Inclusive Academy by designating the school as a beneficiary in your will. You may specify that an exact dollar amount, a particular asset, or a portion of your residual estate may be given to The Academy outright.
Your gift to The Academy will be an important part of our success in offering an outstanding program to students. Please consult with your tax or legal counsel to make sure you choose the best giving vehicle for your individual financial situation. It is customary for the school to recognize gifts in a variety of ways. Working with the Development Office, you can be assured your philanthropic wishes are honored.
